TAA Connect wins Aria Technologies, Lifesize Partner Of The Year

It is a feel-good moment when your business is recognised for its achievements . For Brisbane I.T company TAA Connect it has also been a humbling experience, following its win of an industry award from Lifesize, one of the global leaders in video conferencing technology for business.

“In our business its heads down and tails up, and you don’t really expect anyone outside your market to take much notice”, says TAA Connect Director Bruce Swan. “So travelling to an awards ceremony in Hong Kong to receive this accolade was both exciting and humbling for us.”

TAA won the Lifesize Partner Of The Year award for Australia, the first time a category had been created for the Australian region. The Partner award recognised Sales, Quality and highest level of Deployment Solution satisfaction. Swan says this is a real vindication of the company’s overall approach to customer service.

“We really listen to clients and think in terms of business goals. We only sell proven best-of-breed brands and we take control of client projects from the start and take ownership of any problems. So, yes, we’re chuffed that Lifesize has recognised what we deliver. Clients in the I.T. sector want added value. I think that’s why we are still in business after 20 years.”

TAA Connect first opened its doors in Brisbane in 1992 as a telephone and cabling company. It has since grown to be a total IT and voice solutions provider that serves clients all over Australia. Lifesize was founded in the United States in2003 and has pioneered video conferencing as a natural, user-friendly collaborative tool for workplaces. The company was acquired by Logitech in 2009.
